how can i listen to a local radio station online??

Search for the web address of the radio station and go to their web site. They should have on their site a link to ‘listen live’ or something.

I don’t know what ‘local’ means to you ’cause I don’t know where you live but iTunes has a section full of radio stations. If you have it, look on the left panel for Radio and then select the kind of music you like. It’ll show you lots of radio stations that play that kind of music.

If you have certain bands you want to listen to then go to Yahoo Music. It has a large selection and will modify your station to fit your needs. I love it.
